It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Lois Shuler (Denton, Maryland), born in Elmwood, Nebraska, who passed away on April 21, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Grover Hill; her siblings, Arley Hill, Boyd Hill and Delores Rieke; and her grandchild Philip Rudolph.

She is survived by : her parent Etta Schlanker Hill; her spouses, Joseph Woodley Shuler and Price Shuler of Denton; her daughter Joan Marie Rudolph of Centreville, VA; her grandchildren, Carol Rudolph, Monica Rudolph, Andrew Shuler and Heather Shuler; and also Anne Shuler of Denton.
