Elizabeth Wood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Wood of Denton, Maryland, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leonard Crosgrove and Anna Whalen Bergdoll Crosgrove; her son Andrew Wood; and her sister Mary Ann Alexander. She is survived by: her husband W. Kenneth "Kenny" Wood; her children, Benjamin Wood (Tracy) and Patricia Arevalo; her grandchildren, Shelby Wood, Jack Wood, Nicholas Wood, Luisa Arevalo, Aidan Barrett and Ava Barrett; her brother George Crosgrove; her siblings-in-law, Steve Wood and Barbara Wood; and her nieces and nephews, Amos Crosgrove, Kate Crosgrove, Jacob Crosgrove, Will Crosgrove, Gwen Wood, Amy Litaker, Nora Moss, Thomas Alexander, Dale Adkins, Cindy Gaertner, Jeff Adkin, Thomas Adkins, David Wood, Diana Walker and Brian Wood.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (12 S 2nd St, Denton, MD 21629). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church (408 Central Ave, Ridgely, MD 21660).
