She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Harris Chambers of Virginia and William Chambers; her siblings, Rufus Downes (late Carol Downes), Ernest Downes (Fayetta), Donald Downes (Hully), Vernon Downes (DD), James Chambers, Harold Chambers Lester (Homezelle), Mary McShan (Eddie) and Ella Huffin; her nephews, Micheal McShan and Johnathan Chambers; and her niece Zena Chambers (Todd Angels).
She is survived by: her son Jeffery Chambers (Linda); her grandchildren, Logan Thomas (Brandie), Jordan Mangiafico Chambers and Sydney Butler; her great grandchildren, Logan Thomas Jr., Parker Hawkins and Devin Thomas; her stepgrandchildren, Cameron, Blake and Carter Thomas; her niece Monque Tate; her godchildren, Keith Murray, Tytianna Downes, Jason Brown Jr., Chamarr Hawkins and Careen Bolden; and her siblings, Charles Chambers (Constance Chambers), Rosetta Downes and Lucille Brown (Randolph Brown). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
