She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Perry Butler and Hulda Andrew Butler; her former husband Marion David Wood, Sr.; her husband Robert Gibson Sharp; and her siblings, Elizabeth Butler, Addie Roth, Margaret Reed, Martha Marvel, Louise Schmotzer, Charlotte Morris, Ruth Hearn, Barbara Tortello, Gary Butler, Jacob Butler, Frederick Butler, Wilbert Butler, George Butler, H. Alan Butler and Cornelius Butler.
She is survived by: her children, David Wood, Jr. (Eileen) of Denton, Richard A. Wood (Barbara) of Denton, Dottie Waters (Craig) of Trappe, MD, Mary Wood of Easton, MD, Susan Stafford (Michael) of Denton and Carol Johnson (Wayne) of Annapolis, MD; her stepchildren, Robert G. Sharp, Jr. of Seaford, DE, Ronald A. Sharp of Woodstock, MD, Shirley Niblett of Rehoboth, DE and Janice Dryden Kelch of Littlestown, PA; and her sister Mary Sewell of Crofton, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Because of Covid 19 restrictions, the Mass of Christian Burial and the interment will be celebrated privately for the immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests for memorial donations to be sent to the St. Benedicts/St.
