He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence S. Powell and Carolyn L. Letrick Powell; his wife Carm Powell; his daughters, Emily Powell, Maggie Humphries (Jake), Audrey Powell and Mary Powell; his grandsons, Bryn and Blaise Humphries; and his siblings, Scott Powell (Jen) and Erin Powell (Matt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
