He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Hastings and Elizabeth Hastings; his wife Margaret Hastings; and his siblings, Glenn Hastings and Barbara Rodgers.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Crosley Downes and Wade Downes; his grandchildren, Kennedy Correa (JD), Brandon Callahan, Brittany Callahan, Zachary Downes and Kolby Downes; his great grandchild Brayden Downes; his nieces and nephews, Kim LeKites, Lisa Hastings and Kenny Rodgers; and his friends, Debbie and Allan Layton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (200 S Harrison St, Easton, MD 21601). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
