It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty E. Detwiler of Denton, Maryland, born in Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Calvert Edgar and Mabel Paul Edgar; her husband William F. Detwiler; and her siblings, Julian C. Edgar, Jr., Myrtle Milligan, Marie Braswell, Doris Edgar and Edith Harding.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Harris (Ronald) of Denton, Barbara Beaudet, Judy Cook (Keith) of Denton and Michael; her grandchildren, Rhonda Passwaters, Becky Harris, Julius Beaudet, A'lahna Beaudet, Lydia, Liz Davis (Ben), Amanda Bozarth (Sam) and Nicole Cook; her great grandchildren, Steven, Sierra, Jay, Tristan, Tanner and Ivy; and her great great grandchild Jay.
