It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Bennett of Delmar, Maryland, born in Harrington, Delaware, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis Outten and June Outten (Robert Eugene Bennett); her sons, David Griffin and Dale Griffin; and her siblings, Robert, Charles, William Outten and Bonnie Jean White.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Spence of Salisbury, MD; her grandchildren, Khristy Bennett of Delmar, MD, Brandy Griffin, Audrey Griffin, Tristin Griffin and Joshua Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas Wallace and Jaina Griffin.
