He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail S. Reinhardt and Marvin G. Reinhardt, Sr.; his brother Marvin G. Reinhardt, Jr.; and his niece Christina Reinhardt. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael Jay Reinhardt (Glenda) and Terry "Tink" William Reinhardt; his nephews, Christopher M. Reinhardt (Sarah L. Truitt) and Shaun C. Reinhardt (Malcolm Hairston); his niece Brooke Reinhardt; his great-nieces, Lillian J. Reinhardt, Allison Scott, Kylie Reinhardt and Katelynn Adkins; his cousins, James, John, Butchie and Debbie Conner; and his close friend Keith Brown (Big) of Delmar.
