She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Scott Sr. and Louella Scott (Beasley). She is survived by: her brothers, Brian Scott of Salisbury, MD and Preston Scott, Jr. (Janice Scott) of Salisbury, MD; her children, Ernest J. Barnes Sr. of Aurora, CO, Rachel Oates (Jeremy) of Capon Bridge, WV and Sarah A. Barnes (Harvey L. Linton III) of Delmar, MD; and her grandchildren, Ernest J. Barnes Jr. (Ernie), Preston Oates, Braiden Oates and Cora Linton. She is also survived by cousins and several nieces, and nephews.
