He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Nelson and Reiko Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Jason Nelson, Shawna Truitt, Daniel Nelson and Cameron Nelson; and his siblings, Thomas E. Nelson (Lisa), Burt Gibson Nelson (JoAnne) and Kathy Livingston (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
