He is survived by: his son Randy; his grandson Nicholas; his children, Jennifer Elaina Wheeler of Delmar, MD and Randall James Wheeler of Charlotte, N. C; the mother of his children Margaret Layfield Wheeler of Delmar, MD; his grandson Sergeant Nicholas Jordan Powell; and his siblings, Opal R. Wheeler Bunce of Athens, GA, Susan E. Wheeler Combs (Roger) of Linden, TN and Andy C. Wheeler (Andrea) of Watkinsville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
