She was predeceased by: her former husband David Michael Pielmeier; her daughter Jennifer Turner; her grandson Nicholas Pielmeier; her parents, William F. Casey and Frances I. Casey; her in-laws, Eugene and Madeline Pielmeier; and her siblings, Rose Mary Grant, Mary Jo Smith and William Casey, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Edward Franklin Sclichter of Trappe, MD; her children, Rebecca Seal (John Forrest) of Kitty Hawk, NC, Andrew Pielmeier (Linda) of Altoona, PA and Douglas Pielmeier (Beth Ann Cvrkel) of Falls Church, VA.; her grandsons, Jacob Pielmeier of Winchester, VA, Zachary Adams (Michelle) of Newport News, VA, Noah Adams (Katie) of Osterville, MA and Samuel Adams of Kitty Hawk, NC; her great grandchild Alexander Adams; and her siblings, Veronica Shaffer of Massachusetts, Kathleen Valentino of Pennsylvania and Michael Casey of Tennessee. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake - Anne Arundel County, MD, Talbot Hospice Foundation- Easton, MD, or Adoration Hospice - Nags Head, NC.
