He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Clay, Sr. and Florence Clay (Oldenburgh); and his sister Regina Giltinan. He is survived by: his wife Janet Richman Clay; his daughters, Linda O'Hara (Gene) of Virginia Beach, VA, Debra Shapert (Sean) of Davidsonville and Patricia Holmes (Mark) of Salisbury, MD; and his grandchildren, Conor O'Hara (Stephanie), Joseph Bonsall (Arooj), Liam Holmes, Jared Shapert, Amanda Long (Richard), Caitlin Lyall (Chad) and Colleen O'Hara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (826 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
