With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew B. Kurkjian of Darnestown, Maryland, born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jeff Kurkjian (Lane) and Joy Kurkjian; his children, Michael (Jessica Holzberg) and Lane; his close friend Katherine; and his brothers, Andy (Terri) and Tim (Kathy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Project Mainstreet (http://www.projectmainst.org) to help provide direct financial assistance to people and families living with ALS.
