He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie Joe Moody and Clara Esther Albin (Peck); his wife Sigrid Moody; his children, Steven Joseph Moody, Jr. (Robin), Cody Creamer, Kelly Sandoval (Alex), Lisa Moody (Chris), Ursula Kunz (Ralf) and Skyler Creamer; his siblings, Debbie Hays, Mary Franken, Kathy Meyer, Wendy Fairfax and James Moody; and his brother-in-law John Fogarty (Birgit). He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren.
He set up the Hogs and Heroes donation table every week in Darlington and gladly helped with their fundraising efforts which got him the name "Fry Daddy".
