It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Hankinson Smith of Darlington, Maryland, who passed away on November 19, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Delwyn Smith and Ruth Bowman Smith Hopkins; and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Edith DeYoung Smith; and his siblings, Linda Smith Ropelewski and Nathan "Dee" Smith. He is also survived by friends and family, including many nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made in his memory to Duck's Unlimited Maryland Chapter or Disabled American Veterans.
