He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Fender and Reba Fender (Wiles). He is survived by: his wife Kim P. Fender; his stepdaughter Angela Reeves (Roger) of Darlington; his grandchildren, Wendy and Cole Reeves; and his siblings, Ken Fender of Port Deposit, Patricia Cyzar of Titanville, FL and Mary Walter of Elkton.
