He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn D. Hanson (Bebber); his parents, Homer William and Gladys Hanson (Huffman) of Virginia; and his siblings, William Hanson, Jerry Hanson and Betty Flaherty.
He is survived by: his siblings, Emma Byer and Harold Hanson of Aberdeen, MD.; and his friend Fran Webster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
