He is survived by: his spouse Tobi L. Shirk; his mother Ella Mae Shirk; his children, Christopher Shirk (Rebecca), Shawn Shirk (Kelly) and Katie Kelly (Christopher); his grandchildren, Joseph Shirk (Cynthia), Alissa Shirk (Franklin), Tyler Shirk, Brianna Shirk, McKenzie Kelly and Logan Kelly; his great grandchild Grant Shirk; his sister Sharon Long (Richard); his son-in-law Christopher Kelly; his brother-in-law Richard Long; and his nephew James Ward.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Molesworth-Williams P. A. Funeral Home (26401 Ridge Rd, Damascus, MD 20872). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
