It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Funk of Damascus, Maryland, born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Emery Funk and Jean Posey Funk; his uncle Walter W. Posey II; and his brother-in-law Dennis Kirschman. He is survived by: his significant other Alisa Woicicki Funk; his sons, Joshua William Funk (Jessica), Jacob Walter Funk (Hannah Ann Sluss) and Jordan Walter Funk (Samantha Brunelle); and his siblings, Rebecca Kirschman of Brick, NJ, Judith Laurento (Louis) and Terry Funk (Nancy) of Titusville, PA..
