With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Basil B. Day Sr. (Damascus, Maryland), who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelsel, Sr. Day and Mildred Day (Burdette); his siblings, Kelsel Day, Jr., Jane Day, Maxwell Day and Janet Day Fisher; his son Basil Day Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Day, Barbara Eisenbeis, Britt Fisher and Fred Eisenbeis.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Jo; his brother John Day (Mandy); his daughter Polly (Joe); his grandchildren, Jennifer Helderman (Trevor), Andrew Mihalkovic, Ethan Day, Christopher Mihalkovic and Evan Day; his great grandchild Levi Helderman; his siblings-in-law, Howard Eisenbeis, Shirley Day and Margie Eisenbeis; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Day.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Providence UMC or Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church are encouraged.
