We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2024, at the age of 86, William Robert Patton of Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Patton and Pauline A. Valentine (Short); his wife Walburga J. "Jean" Patton (Fields); and his brother Charles L. Patton. He is survived by: his children, William J. "Bill" Patton of Harrisburg, PA, Brenda J. Patton (Troy) of Cumberland and Brian C. Patton (Kaaren) of Mercersburg, PA; his granddaughter Andréa M. Beall (Michael) of Cumberland; his siblings, Richard L. Valentine (Mickey), Carolyn S. Dickensheets (Bill), Hillary (David Dolan) and Jessica (Jeff Troxell); and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 172. Keep William 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
