She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleon Barnes and Edith Irene Barnes (Cubbage); her husband Carl Sachs; her son William Sachs; her grandson-in-law Barry Baker; and her siblings, Betty Jane Barnes, Ethel "Dot" Jones (Jack) and William Barnes (Dottye).
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Smith (Walter); and her grandchildren, Kathy (Edward Mason), Walter "Chip" Smith, Jr. (Priscilla), Melody (Jamie Harbell) and Amy Baker (Glenn Brooks). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
