With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Laverne (Pifer) May of Cumberland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hetzel Pifer and Mildred Pifer; and her siblings, Norman, Jack Pifer, Sr. and Juanita Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Donald May; her sons, Norman May (Cindy), Don May and Sandy McElwee; her granddaughters, Quincey, Malakia and Bailey May; her sisters, Betty Rowe of Flintstone, MD and Eileen Sellers (Dave) of Weston, WV; her great grandchild Riley May; and her pet Shotzee.
