He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Harold Rice, Sr. and Betty Rice (Messick); and his brother Timothy Rice. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rice (Ryan); his sons, Richard "Rich" Rice (Shelley) and Christopher "Chris" Rice (Cheryl); his sisters, Mary Marrale (Mike) and Patricia Webb (Larry); and his grandchildren, Taylor Rice (Lauren), Madison Rice, Cole Rice and Chloe Rice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mountains Parish Saint Peter and Paul Shrine (125 Fayette St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
