He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norwood Darr and Marie Elizabeth Darr (Hicks); and his sister Rosemarie Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Darr; his children, Maurice Darr, Jr. and Bettina Darr; his siblings, John Darr, Danny Darr (Kathy) and Tonya Pope; his grandson Arlington James Darr; and his close friend Leoli Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD 21530).
