It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Elmo Bridges Sr. of Cumberland, Maryland, born in Mount Savage, Maryland, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Bridges and Amanda Bridges (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bridges; his children, Cathy Bridges, Marvin "Junior" Bridges, Jr. and Debra Bridges Brooks (Harley Brooks, Sr.); his sister Marilyn "Sis" Wilburn; his grandchildren, Demetreous Taylor, Dareius Taylor, Drae Brooks, Emerial Bridges (Ivan Moyer) and Zackery Bridges (Mary); and his stepgrandchildren, Harley Brooks, Jr., Jordan Brooks and Ryan Brooks. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and several close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A. to help with the costs of the services.
