With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Lee Finster of Cumberland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Linda Lee departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Lee may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda Lee leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stein and Mary Lou Stein (Lippold). She is survived by: her husband Walter Finster; her daughters, Lisa Opel (Jesse) and Lauren Yermakov (Oleg); her siblings, Karen Sue Spangler (Jim) and Gary Stein (Louise); and her grandson Wyatt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

It was Linda's wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either the Schwab Family Cancer Center or to the UPMC Western Maryland Emergency Department, c/o UPMC Western Maryland Foundation, 12500 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.
