He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Durst and Retha Durst (Shoemaker); and his sister Franciene Shugars. He is survived by: his siblings, John G. Durst (Wendy), Patricia Durst (Rick) of Salisbury, PA and JoAnn Kamp (Gary) of Grantsville, MD; and his niece Emily Shugars.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (179 Miller St, Grantsville, MD 21536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
