He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Emory Hardy and Hazel Arintha Hardy (Brinkman); his wife Beatrice "Bunny" Lenor Hardy (Beachy); and his son Jay Hardy. He is survived by: his grandsons, Nicholas Hardy (Ashley) and Alexander Hardy (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Makenna, Abigayle, Sawyer, Lilliana and Luna.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes - Cumberland (202 Greene St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the Queen City Lodge #131 (208 Franklin St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes - Cumberland (202 Greene St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
