She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James Madden of Cumberland and Catherine Eleanor Madden (Mattingly) of Cumberland; her husband Joseph Kent McKay of Cumberland; and her son-in-law Alan Hughes of Swindon. She is survived by: her daughter Celeste Hughes Easingwood; her son-in-law Mark Easingwood of Swindon; her grandsons, James Hughes of Swindon, Wiltshire and Richard Hughes of London, England; and her sister Anne Jewell of McKinney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shrine of Ss Peter and Paul (125 Fayette St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Place, 300 East Oldtown Road, Cumberland, Maryland.
