He was predeceased by: his siblings, Deborah Ashburn (IN) and Mark Wachter (MD). He is survived by: his children, Howard Helland (NC), Heather Langley (MD), Katelynn Langley (IN) and Dillon Langley (IN); and his siblings, Linda Engh (DE), Joanne Sparks (MD), Daniel Caddell (SC), Charles Polidore (MD), Diane Martinez (NY) and Susan McRoberts-Calvera (CA). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for in-memorium donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to the Veterans Administration.
