He is survived by: his sons, Lamar "Marty" Dears and Queleel Wali; his grandchildren, Emonte Dears, Jerome Omar Dears, Khaleeq Wali, Malikah Wali and Aura Wali; his great grandchildren, Dashaney White, Jeremiah Dears, Jayden Dears and Asunti Dears; his stepchildren, Damien Day, Amina Henson and NaTeeya Cornish; his siblings, Harry White, Frankie White, Perry Dears and Linda Dears Spence; and his close friends, Earline Tongue, Joyce Dears and Landers Kirby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
