He was predeceased by: his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Constance E. Koenig; his children, Chris Koenig, Michael Koenig and Kathi Koenig-Stoffel; his grandchildren, Alex, Jared, Lilly, Maddie, Josie, Emma and Ben; and his siblings, Edward Koenig, Maridette Parker and Martin Koenig. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
