He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton I. Johnson and A. Louise Gross-Johnson; and his brother Clifton "Cliff" Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Allsup; his son Raphael Hilton Johnson Jr.; his stepchildren, Tyree Smith and Tyron Carroll Sr.; his grandson Raphael Hilton Johnson III; his siblings, Marvin Brown (Cheryl), Ronnie Johnson (Carmen), Kirk Johnson, Marsha Ann Simms, Deloris I. Mooney, Renae Hyman and Roslynn Johnson-Jones (John); his siblings-in-law, Georgiola Brown (Albert), Constance Hurley (Alvin Jr.), Deanna Allsup, Richards Allsup Jr. (Faye) and Marvin Allsup; his godson Tyler Gross; his friends, Rufus Steve, Gardner Gough, Orlando Marlowe, Alfred Dorsey and Lamont Randall; and also Janice Elaine Allsup-Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
