She is survived by: her brother Luther Stewart Briggs, Jr.; her husband Donald LeRoy Mitchell; her daughters, Susan Perdomo and Shari Haddaway (Todd); her grandchildren, Mark Perdomo, A. J. Perdomo, Rebecca Haddaway and Michael Haddaway; and her great grandchild Luna Perdomo.
