He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Coale and Elisabeth Coale; his wife Maryann; his sons, Michael (Elizabeth), William (Cheryl) and Robert (Allison); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Mary, Helen, Andrew, Benjamin, Anthony, Rocco, Sam, Leo and Marino.
