It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Jennings (Crownsville, Maryland), who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Bessicks and Alverta Gatewood Bessicks; and her great grandchild Kameron. She is survived by : her siblings, Joseph, Paul, Raymond, Enoch, Alfred, Alverta, Ruth, Marie, Dorothy and Rhoda; her significant other Oliver Jennings; her sons, Marvin (Vera), Maurice (Kendra), Orville (Dawn), Oliver Jr. (Phyllis) and Julius (Sandy); her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lionel, Desiree, Dominque, Derrick, Blake, Leslie, Patrice, Payge, Julius Jr. and Julynn; her stepson David (late Charlotte); her goddaughter Desiree Cooper; her adoptive daughter Pat McFadden; and her sister-in-law Geneva Smith. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
