He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scaggs and Julia Scaggs; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. Scaggs; his sons, Andrew (Kate Walker) and Adam; his grandson Malcolm; and his sisters, Nancy Scaggs (Dennis Clark) and Chris Byers (Keith Gohsler). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
