It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Ansley Whitehair of Crownsville, Maryland, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Francis and Sadie Frances Ansley; her husband Howard Whitehair; and her siblings, Emerson Ansley and Mary Ellen Reeves.

She is survived by : her children, Aileen Sohn, Bob Whitehair, Martha Meade and Christine Wolfe; and her brother O. Morris Ansley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, ten great, great-grandchildren.
