She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holland and Mazie Holland; her husband Melvin Watkins; her grandson Defonzo Watkins; her siblings, Lester Holland, Dorothy Rawlings, Edith Rachel Parker and Diane Brown; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Jackson, Raymond Watkins, Calvin Parker and William Rawlings.
She is survived by: her children, Mary "Panny" Johnson of Annapolis, Chris Watkins of Annapolis, Monica Watkins of Annapolis, Melvona Watkins of Annapolis, Lisa Watkins of Annapolis and Stephon Watkins of Annapolis; her grandchildren, Hope of Annapolis, Derwin (Lakita) of Annapolis, Lynell (Alisha) of Annapolis, Deedra of Annapolis, Shereka of Annapolis, Dominque of Annapolis, Stephon "Stubby" (Keela) of Annapolis, Jalissa of Annapolis, Darius of Annapolis, Ramardo of Annapolis and Omari of Annapolis; her siblings, John Holland (Loretha) of Baltimore, Rudolph Holland (Patricia) of Pasadena, Lola Jackson and Emma Holland; and her siblings-in-law, Lolita Cordel, Della Webb, Lewis Watkins and Larry Watkins. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She also loved going to the casino, playing spades, listening to gospel hymns, and donating to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
