Masaye Kawai Russey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Masaye Kawai Russey of Crofton, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Masaye Kawai departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Masaye Kawai may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Masaye Kawai leaves behind.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Masaji Kawai and Katsuye Kawai (Kataoka); her husband John Wesley Russey III; and her sons, Milan, London and Southern of California. She was also cherished by sons and their spouses, eight grandchildren, two brothers, several nieces, nephews.
