She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Richardson and Thelma Richardson; and her brothers, Thurman Richardson and Ernest Richardson. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Johnson; her daughters, Karin Johnson Pitchford (David), Angela Johnson Norris (Willie, Jr.), Yolanda Johnson Nelson (Tarus, Sr.) and Carmen Johnson Aton of Maryland; her sisters, Novella Richardson Perry of Hampton, Velma Richardson-Martin (William) of Hampton, Lue Ella Richardson of Hampton and Andrea Richardson Revelle of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Shayla, Courtney, Olivia, James Michael, Tarus Jr., Amarri, Tiye-Ialiyah, Asia and Jaire; and her great grandchildren, Nasir, Maelie, Kaiyah and Sophia. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
