It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Smith (Crofton, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Louis and Eleanor Irene Webb Chaney; her husband James Francis Smith; her son James Ronald Smith; and her brother Louis Henry Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Francis Smith (Crystal) of Lothian, MD, Joyce LeOna Smith (Ray Haas) of Davidsonville, MD, Jacqueline Irene Smith (Chad Garland) of Lothian, MD and Suzanne Marie St. John of Upper Marlboro, MD; and her sister Mabel Ada Parker of Huntingtown, MD.. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She worked on food trucks for charity events.
