He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto W. Phillips and Louise Chandler Phillips; his sister Elizabeth Cottee Colvin; and his former wife Lois Phillips. He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Elliott of Eden; his sons, Stephen Phillips (Retired Coast Guard) of Estill Springs and Gene Phillips of Crisfield; his stepchildren, Karen, Peter Hug of Pompton Lakes, Kathleen, Steven Roman of Pompton Lakes, Christopher and Patricia Graber of Lincoln Park; his grandchildren, Dustin Phillips (Anna Phillips), Kristle (Ryan Ellicott), Peter, Keira (Ryan Hug), Christopher, Lucas (Jacob Graber), Edward (Tre Bartlett), Matthew (Jacqueline Bartlett), Andrew Bartlett of Pompton Lakes, Samantha, Danyel and Courtney; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Amelia Phillips, Aiden and Chase Ellicott of Wayne.
