He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martin Atkins, Sr. and Blanche Davis Cox Atkins; his wife Marilyn Reese Atkins; and his brother Raymond D. Atkins. He is survived by: his children, William Martin "Marty" Atkins, III of Snow Hill, Mark Atkins (Maron) of Crisfield, Linda Wilmer (Ken) of Crisfield, Mike Atkins of Crisfield and Lisa Kraus (Bill) of Crisfield; his brother Terry Tyler (Barbara) of Williamsburg, VA; his sister-in-law Peggy Atkins of Crisfield; and his grandchildren, Jeb Atkins (Rebecca), Josh Atkins (Casey), Andrea Dryden (Willis), Mark Atkins, Jr. (Lindsay), Allison Grove (Chris), Stacey Horsey (Richard), Stephanie Davenport (Chris), Aaron Atkins, Hannah Atkins, Noah Atkins, Adam Atkins, Ethan Atkins, Emily Atkins, Brad Kraus, Ryan Kraus, Jennifer Hammond (Andre) and Kelly Grundmeier. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
