He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon A. Dize and Margaret E. Crockett Dize; his wife LaVerne G. Lahner Dize; his brother Raymond Dize; his granddaughter Diane L. Pruitt; and his son-in-law Perry Dorman.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Costa of Crisfield, William L. Dize, Jr. (Kathy) of Cumberland, Wayne Dize (Mary) of Arbutus, Mahlon Dize (Annie) of Odenton, Evelyn Dorman of Crisfield and Norman Dize (Denise) of Florida; and his daughter-in-law Susan Dize of Baltimore. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
