He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah; and his siblings, Dorothy Ames, George Ames, Mary Veney, Dinah Benn and Rosetta Hardy.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Fassbinder (Debbie) and Daryle Whittington; his grandchildren, Shaan, Jackson, Arianna, Israyel, Zeke, Josh, Angel, Michael and Ruben; his children, Phil Jr. and Bro. Harris; his wife Maria Harris; his children, Phillip M. Harris Jr. and Sarah K. Harris; and his brother Solomon E. Harris (Valter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
