She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Unzicker and Maude Eldridge Unzicker; and her husband Philip W. Tawes. She is survived by: her sons, Philip Wesley Tawes, Jr., John W. "Jay" Tawes (Debbie) and David W. Tawes (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Jayna Tawes Grant (Jacob), Jayson Tawes, Megan Tawes, Patrick Tawes (Ashley) and Seth Tawes; and her great grandchildren, Isabella and Nathan Grant.
